Weekend stay with two teenagers. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet at Lazy Lapa. This quaint house is a home from home - nothing fancy, no airs about the place - just plain honesty. The house contains treasures from yesteryear that blew our grandchildren's minds. This generation is so used to instant everything that the little fireplace in the lounge and the huge Minute Book, with its meticulous minutes, were eye-openers to them. The most beautiful crockery on the old grocery cupboard, the perfect Singer sewing machine, and so many other elements added to the charm of this place. The bath and shower gave us refreshing hot water, and we lacked nothing in the kitchen. Our grandchildren enjoyed the splash pool tremendously, and that alone is a great facility to offer. We enjoyed it with them, but from the comfort of that glorious lapa. I also want one just like that! The only change I would recommend is a new mattress in the main bedroom. Although we are two big adults, I think a new bed would have your customers rave even more about the place.

Beautiful, unique, comfortable. We recently spent a few nights at The Lazy Lapa in Magaliesberg and it was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and relaxed. The setting is absolutely beautiful – peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature, making it the ideal escape from city life. The accommodation is well thought out and exceptionally clean, with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there are lovely touches throughout the space that make it feel both homely and luxurious. We especially loved the outdoor entertainment area – perfect for lazy afternoons, braais, and star-gazing at night. Jan was friendly and responsive, striking the right balance between giving us our privacy and being available when needed. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a special space for guests.

Amazing. What a wonderful place to relax and unwind at. Beautifully decorated and it has everything one could need. The splash pool is an absolute treat. Jan was an excellent host, very attentive and helpful. Thanks for making it such a memorable stay! We hope to visit again real soon.

Incredibly relaxing. My stay at the Lazy Lapa was incredible! I was looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg and the Lazy Lapa offered just that!
