Description

The Mount – Stalberg Private Reserve is a secluded mountain retreat situated on the slopes of the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve and Buffelstalberg, offering a tranquil escape surrounded by unspoilt fynbos and panoramic mountain views. This private lodge provides a peaceful setting ideally suited to guests seeking comfort, privacy, and a close connection to nature.

The home can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds. The first bedroom features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower, while the second and third bedrooms each have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower. The third bedroom also includes a kitchenette equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, microwave, and kettle.

The living spaces comprise 3 dining areas and 2 lounges furnished with comfortable seating, one of which includes a TV for entertainment. The fully equipped kitchen contains a fridge-freezer, gas stove, air fryer, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, and microwave. Additional conveniences include a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Large sliding doors open onto a spacious wooden deck fitted with outdoor seating, a swimming pool, and sun loungers overlooking the mountains and valley. Braai facilities, free Wi-Fi, and secure parking are also provided for guests’ convenience. Guests are able to explore the surrounding reserve and its network of hiking trails through indigenous fynbos, while enjoying the birdlife and natural beauty of the Kogelberg region.
