Nice. But real coffee would have been better. We arrived on three motorcycles, back from a long tour that started in Gauteng, made a turn in Port Shepstone and back through Lesotho to Clarens as our last overnight stop. The place is neat and near enough to all amenities - Clarens can probably be walked from end to end in half an hour anyway. I was disappointed with the setting (ligging), but that is my own doing - I would have preferred a place further away from the main road. I was also disappointed in the absence of proper coffee-making tools - there is a Nespresso, but we couldn't find any pods for sale in town. I bought a pack of grounds, hoping there would be a plunger, but alas there wasn't a plunger either. It wasn't the perfect place to stay for three tired bikers - I am sure it would be fine for people looking for a secure overnight stop that is fully self-catering. These are minor gripes though - besides a coffee plunger, the unit is well equipped with everything a normal person would need. I did slip in the en-suite shower - the slope of the floor to the drain is steep - take care.

It was absolutely cosy and welcoming. The unit was fully equipped, the garage was a great surprise and the unit was very well kept. The wood-burning fireplace kept us warm and all chatting around it. The braai and patio area were just perfect for six.

Marvelous. It was beautiful; we enjoyed our stay. Only the DStv didn't work. I didn't report it because we were chatting and enjoying our evenings with a braai or at restaurants.

Lovely, comfortable & convenient. Beautiful, clean & modern unit in a secure complex. Easy to get in and out of, and to town & surrounds. It had everything you need for a comfortable, hassle-free stay. Lovely, safe, fully fenced yard for our 2 small dogs who were welcomed.
