The Red Fox is situated on a tranquil farm stay surrounded by natural fynbos and open countryside near Somerset West in the Western Cape. A peaceful rural atmosphere is offered, where guests are surrounded by open space while still being within easy reach of wine farms, coastal routes, and surrounding towns. A relaxed getaway experience is created, where quiet farm living is combined with convenient access to popular attractions in the Helderberg region.
Accommodation is offered in three unique self-catering units, each with its own private setting and character. Two cosy barn-style units are provided, each ideal for 2 guests, while The Hibiscus Retreat is offered as a more spacious and private garden unit designed for a romantic stay. All units are individually arranged to ensure privacy and a comfortable farm-style experience.
The barn-style units are furnished with a mezzanine sleeping area containing a double bed, and each unit is fitted with a private bathroom featuring a shower, toilet, and washbasin. A compact kitchenette is provided in each unit and is equipped for light self-catering with an air fryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, and fridge-freezer. The Hibiscus Retreat is furnished with a double bed and includes a lounge and dining area, as well as a private en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. A kitchen is provided and is equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, microwave, toaster, gas kettle, and full-size fridge-freezer. A large undercover deck with outdoor seating and braai facilities is also provided for relaxed outdoor living.
The Red Fox is situated within close proximity to a variety of local attractions, with Helderberg Motorcycle Museum, Waterkloof Wine Estate, Blue Rock Cable Ski, Idiom Wine Estate, and Chorus Restaurant all located nearby. Im Eimer German Pub & Eatery is also within easy reach, while the surrounding wine routes, Gordons Bay, and Strand Beach are easily accessible for day visits and scenic drives.
