Nestled in the heart of McGregor, The Repose is a beautifully restored Victorian cottage offering a tranquil and comfortable escape for families and friends. Combining historic charm with modern comforts, this home is ideal for those looking to unwind in a picturesque village setting.
The property accommodates up to 8 guests across 4 well-appointed bedrooms. The main house features 3 bedrooms - two are furnished with queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms fitted with showers. The third bedroom offers 2 single beds and shares a separate bathroom fitted with a bath and shower. A fourth bedroom is located in a separate garden cottage, featuring a queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom with a shower, and its own living area with a kitchenette equipped with a bar fridge and coffee- and tea-making facilities. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
The open-plan living area is warm and inviting, complete with comfortable seating, a cosy fireplace, and a dining table. The well-equipped kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and coffee- and tea-making facilities. Step outside onto the charming patio, where guests can relax while overlooking the garden or take a refreshing dip in the shared swimming pool, perfect for warm summer days. Secure parking is available for one vehicle behind the gates, with additional parking for three more vehicles in front of the property.
SWIMMING POOL: The Repose does not have it's own private pool but has access to the neighbouring communal pool, directly accessible from the property, which is perfect for cooling down and having a swim. The swimming pool is shared with users of the on-site gym/Pilates studio and a calm, quiet, and respectful atmosphere is essential at all times. Please note: there is no pool furniture provided | children MUST be supervised at all times | pets are not permitted | no drinking, partying, or loud behaviour | a Pool Rules and Indemnity Form must be signed by all guests on arrival at The Repose.
PETS: The Repose is a pet-friendly property; however, we allow a MAXIMUM OF TWO DOGS PER BOOKING. Pets must be supervised at all times to ensure the property, garden, and furnishings are respected. Please note:
Digging in the garden is not permitted | Dogs are not allowed on beds or couches | Any damage to the garden, furnishings, or property caused by pets will be for the guest’s account.
