Nestled in the heart of McGregor, The Repose is a beautifully restored Victorian cottage that combines historic charm with modern comfort. Surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of this picturesque village, it offers an ideal retreat for families and friends looking to unwind and reconnect.
The property accommodates up to 8 guests across 4 well-appointed bedrooms. The main house features three bedrooms, two of which are furnished with queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms fitted with showers. The third bedroom offers two single beds and makes use of a separate bathroom fitted with both a bath and shower. A fourth bedroom is situated in a separate garden cottage and includes a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a private living area with a kitchenette equipped with a bar fridge and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
The open-plan living area is warm and inviting, with comfortable seating, a cosy fireplace, and a dining table for shared meals. The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Outside, a charming patio overlooks the garden, creating a relaxing space to enjoy the surroundings.
Guests have access to a neighbouring communal swimming pool, which is directly accessible from the property. This shared facility is also used by an on-site gym and Pilates studio, and a calm, respectful environment is required at all times. Children must be supervised, and no drinking, parties, or loud behaviour are permitted. Please note that there is no pool furniture provided, and all guests are required to sign a pool rules and indemnity form on arrival.
The Repose is pet-friendly, allowing a maximum of two dogs per booking by prior arrangement. Pets must be supervised at all times, are not permitted on beds or couches, and may not dig in the garden. Any damage caused by pets will be for the guest’s account.
Conveniently located within walking distance of local shops and restaurants, The Repose is perfectly positioned for exploring the surrounding area. Guests can enjoy activities such as hiking, mountain biking, wine tasting, and visits to nearby nature reserves, making it a wonderful base for both relaxation and adventure in the countryside.
