Description
The Sparrow’s Nest is a charming coastal retreat in Jeffrey’s Bay, offering a spectacular 180-degree ocean view. The area is renowned for its scenic routes, beaches, surfing, sandboarding, and nature reserves. Guests can enjoy breathtaking sunrises and the sound of waves from the comfort of the cottage.
The cottage accommodates 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a cosy lounge, and a small fully equipped kitchenette. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom has 2 single beds. The bathroom is fitted with a double shower and includes a washing machine. Sliding doors from the lounge and main bedroom open onto a patio with a built-in braai, and an outside shower is available nearby. A Weber braai is also provided.
The kitchenette features a large fridge-freezer, microwave, air fryer, 2-plate induction stove (with a countertop oven stored above the fridge), and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The flat-screen TV has independent DStv channels, and free Wi-Fi is available. A clothesline, ironing board, iron, and hairdryer are provided. During load shedding, an inverter powers the lights and TV.
The property is situated 5 km from the town in a safe and secure neighbourhood. One parking bay is available behind automated gates, with additional street parking. The driveway is steep, and it is recommended to use the gentler slope on the right-hand side when approaching the house.
The pristine beach is just steps away, where dolphins, whales, and seals may be spotted. A nearby park and lagoon offer safe play areas for children, and flamingos are often seen in the lagoon. Guests can also enjoy nearby activities such as sunset boat cruises at Marina Martinique, dining at local restaurants, fishing, cycling, kite surfing, sandboarding, hiking, gym, bowls, golf, tennis, horse riding, deep-sea fishing, and skydiving.
