The Spinning Reel Cottages are situated on the beach in Port Alfred, the heart of the Sunshine Coast, and offer a variety of accommodations to meet every visitor's needs. Enjoy wonderful sunrises, with the beach almost at your doorstep, and set away from, but within 2 minute drive of the centre of Port Alfred. The Spinning Reel offers a restful, comfortable and secluded holiday break for families, romantic getaways, or a re-charging stopover for the weary traveller.
Accommodation options include secluded self-catering beach cottages, exquisite chalets with breathtaking sea views, as well as bed and breakfast accommodations overlooking the beach. All our beach cottages and log cabins have been strategically placed among the natural dune vegetation to ensure each unit's privacy. With no roads between Spinning Reel and the beach, the cottages and cabins are literally a stone's throw from the beach.
Let your hair down, feel the beach sand between your toes, listen to the soothing sounds of the breaking waves, watch the whales go by, and relax.
For the more energetic, there is a tennis court, or you can enjoy a jog on the beach or on the quiet rural roads, or hire a boat and head up the river. The Royal Port Alfred Golf Course is nearby.
