We had a wonderful stay, and wish we could have stayed longer. Breathtaking location. The rock formations are spectacular! What a privilege to be able to share the cottage with the owner!

Amazing place to spend my 80th birthday. Unique luxury, splendid isolation. I celebrated my 80th birthday at the Pod. It is an amazing place; sensitively decorated, extremely well and luxuriously equipped, and the situation is quite spectacular. We loved it.

One for the bucket list. If you desire complete relaxation away from the city, social media and television, then this is your spot. The pictures don't do it justice. Three times better in real life and lots of extras in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. They were also very generous with the amount of firewood. Instructions were clear. There is phone reception a 3-minute drive from the pod. Vodacom and Telkom will be sufficient. Thank you for everything. We will be returning.

Stunning location and views! We had an absolutely amazing stay at the trout pod. It's an incredible location with spectacular views all round. The accommodation was comfortable, but the house could do with a little TLC though. Otherwise, it's a great place to visit and unwind. Highly recommended.

Amazing location, beautiful cabin but needed a more refined touch at the price. Great, but found the pod missing a few key things for the price, instant instead of ground coffee, no cold water during the heat of the day, no printed info on the area or things to do, etc. No signal or WiFi was great for relaxing but inconvenient for comms or planning routes out, etc.

Deep in the valley, secluded and special. The wilderness area is well preserved. The house overlooks the river and mountains. It is a blissful place to recharge. Just below the house there is a lovely swimming spot in the river, so hot days without air conditioning are not a problem.
