The Upper Room – peaceful comfort with beautiful Free State views. My husband and I stayed for two nights at The Upper Room while in Bloemfontein for work, and everything was absolutely great. The apartment is sunny, spotless, and very comfortable — with lovely views of the wide Free State skies. We appreciated the peaceful privacy and the fact that everything was in perfect working order. The apartment is thoughtfully equipped for self-catering, with good Wi-Fi and all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. We were warmly welcomed by Lurica, who made us feel right at home, and was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Communication was clear, upfront, and easy from booking to checkout. A truly delightful stay — peaceful, well-managed, and highly recommended for couples or solo travellers looking for comfort and convenience in Bloemfontein.

Excellent. The stay was comfortable and convenient. I liked the fully fitted kitchen and it made it easy to cook. The owner is friendly and helpful. The unit was clean and felt like a home, not a hotel.
