Tranquillity Farmstays offers peaceful accommodation in the heart of the Central Drakensberg, surrounded by natural scenery and tranquil farm views. Ideally suited to families, couples, and groups of friends, the farm provides a relaxing countryside retreat where guests are able to unwind and enjoy the quiet charm of farm-style living.
Accommodation is offered in 2 self-catering cottages and a private campsite. Strelitzia Cottage is a beautifully renovated cottage that accommodates up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms, making it ideal for families or small groups. Willow Cottage accommodates 2 adults and 1 child and comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a sofa bed in the lounge, and a modern kitchen. Both cottages are fully equipped for self-catering and include a TV with DStv, free Wi-Fi, and private braai facilities. The campsite can accommodate up to 12 guests and offers a more rustic outdoor experience for guests bringing their own tents and camping equipment. Campsite facilities include a bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin, hot water, a braai area, and a plug point providing electricity.
Guests staying at the farm have access to a variety of on-site activities and shared facilities. These include scenic farm walks, catch-and-release fishing at the dams, sundowners on the deck, and a reservoir swimming pool ideal for cooling off on warmer days. Families travelling with children can also make use of the on-site jungle gym.
Braai facilities can additionally be arranged at the deck area, allowing guests to enjoy outdoor dining while taking in the peaceful surroundings and beautiful farm views.
