Uitzicht Stay is a cosy, homely self-catering unit with a private entrance, located on the owner’s property in the quiet suburb of Uitzicht, Durbanville. It is ideal for a single traveller or a couple looking for a peaceful, comfortable space that feels like your own little place—no interruptions and no workers on site during your stay.
Whether visiting for business or leisure, guests can enjoy a relaxed setting with easy access to major routes, shopping centres, restaurants, and hospitals.

The unit accommodates up to two guests and comprises one en-suite bedroom. The bedroom is comfortably furnished with a double bed, and the bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. Linen and bath towels are provided for your convenience.

The kitchenette is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a gas stove, oven, kettle, toaster, microwave, single-plate induction hob, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, and a fridge-freezer.

The adjacent lounging area offers comfortable seating, and guests can enjoy a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube, as well as free Wi-Fi.
The living area opens onto a private, enclosed, pet-friendly garden with a paved patio, outdoor seating, and a portable braai—perfect for relaxing after a day out.

Secure parking for one vehicle is available in a communal parking area behind a locked gate.
Rates are on a self-catering basis, and the unit is not serviced during your stay. No breakage deposit is required; however, guests are kindly asked to treat the space with care and cover the cost of any items that may be damaged or need replacement.

Well-behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Due to previous barking incidents and strict municipal noise bylaws, pets may not be left alone in the unit at any time. If you need to be out during the day, an optional daytime pet-sitting service is available at R200 per day, payable directly to the pet sitter on arrival.

This service is provided by a trusted local pet-sitting professional who has been running his own business since 2013, and arrangements are made directly with him.

Owners are requested to bring their own pet beds and bedding. Dogs are not permitted on beds or furniture at any time. If dogs sleep inside the unit, the sliding door should be left open overnight and during the day to allow free access to the garden.
This arrangement is safe, provided the entrance gate to the unit is kept locked at all times.

We respect our guests’ privacy and do not enter the unit unless it is absolutely necessary, such as for an emergency or a pre-arranged reason.
