The perfect hideaway if you're seeking a tranquil getaway in nature. It was peaceful, quiet, which is just what we needed. The location is perfect and very easy to find. Tucked away, hidden from the hustle and bustle of city life and only a stone's throw away from Cape Town. The accommodation was a cosy 2-bed cottage with amazing views from the second bedroom. The host was very accommodating by allowing a late checkout. The fireplace was well positioned to warm up the whole place, making it very cosy. We enjoyed waking up to the flowing of the river and the birds chirping. We will definitely be back soon. A bonus is that it's pet friendly.

A magical spot on the river bank for us and our dogs. Julian was amazing and the venue is quite magical. Small Tolkien touches in things like stained glass windows added to the Hobbit Hollow mystique. We were there at the end of summer and the river was dry, but a visit in spring when the Bot River is flowing will take the experience up a notch. We had our dogs with us and the place was perfectly secured for our peace of mind. The local dogs put our dogs fully at ease when they popped across to visit and say hi.
