It was a wonderful experience with a few minor negative aspects. We had a great stay. My wife and I were with our daughter and twin granddaughters (10). The four bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, were a luxury. The house is old, but beautifully situated next to a river and at the foot of mountains. We had a lovely walk and enjoyed the friendly horses. The gravel road to the unit is in reasonably good condition, but we drove in the rain and it was quite a challenge. The braai wood available at reception was a huge disappointment and the coals were wasted within minutes. Although the website indicated that WiFi was available, there was no WiFi and no Vodacom signal. There was also no TV. However, this did not bother us, because we were able to enjoy nature.

Nice, but unit needs proper cleaning and repairs. Stay was good. However, the unit was dirty and not cleaned properly. There was also a complete stacking door missing from the patio and it was not very well maintained.
