Vaal Dam Getaway is a self-catering holiday home situated on the Vaal Dam peninsula near Oranjeville. The property offers a peaceful setting with views of the dam and surrounding natural landscape, making it well-suited to families and groups looking for a relaxed getaway. The house is located on a private waterfront and provides access to outdoor activities such as fishing and boating.
The house can accommodate up to 10 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with queen-size beds, while the third bedroom contains 2 single beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. The fourth bedroom is furnished with 4 single beds, 2 of which can be converted into a king-size bed. The bathrooms are fitted with a bath or shower or both, a washbasin, and a toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge, gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and air fryer, as well as cutlery and crockery. A washing machine is available in the laundry area. The open-plan living area is furnished with comfortable seating and includes a dining area, a bar area, and a smart TV with DStv and streaming services. Free Wi-Fi access is provided.
The living area opens onto a patio overlooking the swimming pool and outdoor area. Braai facilities, an outdoor fire pit, and a picnic area are available for guests’ use. The property also features a fenced swimming pool and a trampoline. Electricity is supplied by a solar system with a backup generator, and water is sourced from a borehole. Secure parking is available on the property.
Guests also have the option to arrange meals at a nearby guest house by prior arrangement.
