Vaalkrans Game Lodge is a picturesque private lodge located in the Free State countryside between Edenville and Heilbron. Surrounded by natural beauty, the lodge offers a tranquil retreat for guests seeking a peaceful escape, with opportunities to enjoy activities such as game viewing and fishing in a serene bushveld setting.
The lodge can accommodate up to 10 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms within the main lodge, along with a separate luxury room near the swimming pool. The upper level of the lodge includes a sleeping area with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Room 1 is furnished with 2 single beds, while Room 2 contains a double bed, both sharing a family-style bathroom that can be used privately. Room 3 is furnished with 2 single beds and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath. Room 4, the Honeymoon Suite, contains a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with both a bath and a shower. The separate Rondavel de Luxe is furnished with 2 single beds and includes 2 bathrooms fitted with showers, as well as a private kitchen, bar, and seating area.
The communal kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, cutlery, and crockery, and is located next to the dining area with seating for 7 guests. The lounge offers comfortable seating and a TV, and opens onto a balcony overlooking the surrounding landscape.
Guests have access to shared on-site facilities, including a swimming pool, a braai area, and secure parking. The lodge setting provides a relaxed environment where guests can unwind while enjoying the surrounding wildlife and natural views.
