We will come back again. Exactly what we needed - peaceful, spacious, amazing outdoor swimming pool and social area. The host is a super person who is always ensuring his guests are comfortable.

If you need to wind down, Val Mor Farm is the go-to place. Everything I was looking for. Peaceful. Quiet. Best sleep I have had in a very long time. The host was at our beck and call. Very helpful.

Quiet, peaceful getaway for a family. Although the location is a bit off the beaten track, it offered a peaceful stay just on the outskirts of Paarl. The view of the mountains was lovely, and the location is no further than 20 minutes from Paarl Mall and shops. The units are new and very clean. We stayed for 4 weeks in total as a family of 4, including our two children aged 5 and 8. The pool and braai area are close to the units. Mark was an exceptional host and supported us with any issues quickly. Would highly recommend for a stay if you are looking for a nice, quiet location.

Poor accommodation that requires a lot of attention. Upon arrival, the woman informed us that they “actually wanted to cancel our reservation because the unit is not really ready for guests yet!!!”. We booked 2 units. The lights wouldn’t work; so the woman quickly pulled the curtains open. There were 4 TVs in total and none of them worked. They also didn’t have remote controls. The worker brought us a 5th TV, but it wouldn’t work either!! The finish is very poor: power plugs without covers, holes in the ceiling and skirting boards. My daughter had to move out of her room because someone was smoking below the room and the whole room was covered in smoke. The aircon didn’t work in that room, so the smoke was even worse. We stayed in units 5 and 6. I blame the website for not doing an inspection before listing the property. The property is near a squatter camp, so keep that in mind when you want to eat out in Paarl. The gas and electricity look extremely suspicious and cannot possibly have COCs for them. We paid R5 000 for the night so it was very upsetting for what we got. I wanted to show the wife the smoke in the room but she was nowhere to be found. We did use the pool which was very nice to cool off in.

Beautiful, quiet, luxurious. We have had a beautiful stay at Val Mor! Walking from our bedrooms directly onto the covered terrace with magnificent pool and superb sunsets on the Paarl Mountains. With the warm welcome of all the staff and especially Carol!
