Valleizicht private campsite #1 is a hidden gem with breathtaking valley views. Valleizicht private campsite #1 is absolutely amazing, way better than any photos or videos are able to capture. The valley view is spectacular, behind the campsite, the mountain rises up dramatically and enclosing the site are huge rocks and masses of fynbos. The campsite is covered in lush, well-kept grass, which you don’t always find when camping. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into maintaining this space. It was peaceful and so quiet - except for the bellowing of a few cows in the distance, seemingly on a neighbouring farm. The facilities are excellent, two toilets (one with a basin, the other with a shower), an outdoor shower, a scullery with two basins and a shape for drying dishes, and hot and cold water. We were treated to a magical moment on our first night of two owls serenading us as the sun set. A truly special experience. Our hosts were super helpful too. If you’re looking for a campsite that combines natural beauty, thoughtful amenities, and a sense of peaceful escape, Valleizicht is a gem. We’ll definitely be back. PS no jokes about 4x4 or high clearance. My RAV4 took a few branches home with her.

Scenic mountain escape with wood-fired hot tubs, and pet-friendly privacy. This campsite is a hidden gem! The spacious, lush green grass and stunning mountain views create a serene valley escape. Our kids couldn't get enough of the wood-fired hot tub, and the modern, clean ablutions were a major plus. Best of all, the privacy and secure layout were perfect for our dogs.

Peaceful, private, secluded. We had a fantastic stay at Valleizicht Campsite! The setting is peaceful and well-maintained, with beautiful surroundings that made it easy to relax and switch off. It’s also very dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us — our German Shepherd had the best time exploring. The facilities were clean with beautiful bathrooms, a nice little pool, and a semi-shaded lapa. Trees are still growing, so take extra shade with you, especially in summer. We’ll definitely be back for another visit.

We enjoyed a comfortable high-end camping experience with awesome views. We had a 3-night stay at Valleizicht. The campsite is fantastic with excellent ablution facilities. We camped on perfectly manicured grass. The site has a larger than normal hot tub. The views from the campsite are awesome. We were very impressed with the communication from the owners of the farm. They were extremely helpful.

Outstanding campsite! Excellent. This was our 2nd time here. Great campsite, huge, beautiful view, nice bathroom and shower, and a very nice hot tub with a view. Good communication and directions! Will come back again!

Beautiful campsite. Beautiful view, quiet and peaceful. Our family had a great time camping. The bathrooms were clean and tidy and there was a place to wash dishes. We enjoyed taking our dogs with us. The view is beautiful and we were able to relax and spend time together.

Awesome campsite, lush grass, clean air, peaceful. Probably one of the best campsites we have camped at. The layout of the camp and lush grass was second to none. The hosts were fantastic. The views were awesome. The toilets were clean and well presented. The outside shower was my favourite. It is a working farm, so take this into consideration if you are a light sleeper.
