Description
Vineyard View is a self-catering cabin situated in Devon Valley, Stellenbosch, approximately 9 km from central Stellenbosch. Surrounded by vineyards and mountain scenery, the property offers a peaceful retreat within easy reach of wine farms, restaurants, hiking trails, and other attractions in the Cape Winelands. The unit also features backup power during load-shedding.
Accommodation is provided in a private cabin comprising 2 spacious en-suite bedrooms with views of the surrounding valley. Each bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, air-conditioning, and a workspace suitable for remote work. The en-suite bathrooms are each fitted with a shower and a toilet, and linen is provided for guests’ convenience. The unit also features a smart TV, allowing guests to log into their own streaming services.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, cutlery, and crockery, as well as a washer/dryer combination. Additional amenities include a Nespresso machine, a private deck, and braai facilities. Guests have access to the communal swimming pool and a private hot tub, while the large garden areas provide space to relax and enjoy the surrounding views. Secure parking is available behind an electric gate and fencing, and a dedicated security team is on duty.
Guests can enjoy a variety of nearby activities, including hiking, cycling, bird watching, horse riding, and wine tasting. The property is family-friendly and can accommodate families travelling with babies and toddlers, with a baby crib, high chair, and baby bath available on request. Cape Town International Airport is within easy reach, and transport services such as Uber are readily available in the area.
Please note that the property makes use of a natural water supply. The water may occasionally appear slightly darker in colour due to naturally occurring tannins; however, it undergoes an extensive purification process and is safe for use.
