Waterval Ebhudlweni Farm Eco-Friendly Cottage is a self-catering unit located on a family farm alongside a working performing arts centre in Machadodorp. The cottage offers an open-plan living area with a wood-burning fireplace and views of the surrounding valley and mountains.

The cottage can accommodate 4 guests. The first bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, toilet, and basin. The second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin.

The kitchenette is fitted with a gas stove, fridge, cutlery, crockery, and braai utensils. As the cottage operates entirely off-grid on solar power, there is no microwave or toaster, and electrical appliances such as hair dryers or straighteners cannot be used.

Additional features include a covered braai area, Wi-Fi (guests to top up), an alarm system, and on-site parking. Hot water is supplied by a gas geyser. The property includes trout dams and offers space for walking, hiking, and mountain biking.

Access to the cottage is along an 8 km dirt road from Machadodorp/Entokozweni. The surrounding roads are popular with mountain bikers and high-altitude athletes. During summer, heavy rains may cause muddy conditions, and high-clearance vehicles are recommended.
