A peaceful, private bushveld escape we can’t wait to return to! We had such a wonderful stay at Welgedacht Lodge’s Bush Chalet and would happily return! From the moment we arrived, Natalie made us feel incredibly welcome. The chalet itself was beautiful, peaceful and had everything we needed for a comfortable self-catering getaway. The setting is absolutely lovely, with that wonderful feeling of being away from everything while still having all the comforts you need. We especially loved the privacy and tranquillity of the Bush Chalet. It was the perfect place to switch off, relax and simply enjoy being together. The little touches and care that have gone into the chalet really add to the experience. Communication with Natalie was excellent throughout, from the clear arrival instructions to making sure we were settled and comfortable. Our only problem is that a few days simply weren’t enough! We left already talking about our next visit. Thank you, Natalie and the team, for such a special stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing getaway! Our stay was amazing. Natalie was such a wonderfully kind and friendly host. Such a genuine soul. The chalet was so beautiful and it felt like a home away from home. There wasn't a day when we didn't get to see the beautiful wildlife right in front of our door either. The view from the mountain top was simply breathtaking and beautiful. We had such a peaceful and humbling stay. We definitely can't wait to go back. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic! Accommodation was top quality! We were warmly welcomed, the chalet literally has everything you are looking for. Neat, clean, bushveld and animals around you all the time. Could lay down and rest. The hot tub was a winner. The braai area was great! The cleaning services were super friendly and helpful. Our game drive was very nice and the view was breathtaking. We will definitely come and visit again.

Fantasties! Verblyf was topgehalte!

Wonderful outdoor living farm with world-class amenities. The farm is very beautiful, neat and the facilities are world class, clean and modern. The customer service is excellent. The hostess kept us informed of everything at all times before our arrival and upon our welcome we were quickly shown everything and quickly put at our ease. We had a wonderful time here and would definitely recommend Welgedacht Lodge, especially if you like the outdoors.

Amazing lodge. We will be back! I recently celebrated my 50th birthday with a group of friends at Welgedacht Lodge. Where do I start? The host was amazing! Personal touches like a gift with a picture of me on it and welcome notes in everyone's rooms, as well as chocolates for the birthday girl. Everything at the lodge was perfect. The rooms are immaculate, clean, comfortable, well equipped, private and safe. The amenities are fabulous. The pool, pool lounge chairs, boma, braai, pool table and dart board kept us well entertained. The host checked on us regularly and they even took us on a trip up the hill in a game drive vehicle for an outing. I highly recommend the lodge for groups or families, etc. We will definitely go there regularly from now on.

Peaceful, relaxing home away from home. Great host and staff! 5 star hosts with a serene, quiet, and relaxing atmosphere. The facilities have everything you need for a getaway. Pool, hot tub, huge garden, braai facilities, "chill out space", kitchen, etc. Make sure you spend some time on the viewing deck for scenery that is just breathtaking. The staff are just the most wonderful and pleasant people, and the family had an amazing time.
