Welcome to Welgedacht Lodge, a private self-catering bushveld stay offering two unique accommodation options: the spacious Welgedacht Lodge Homestead and the secluded Welgedacht Lodge Bush Chalet.
The Welgedacht Lodge Homestead sleeps up to 23 guests sharing in 6 en-suite bedrooms and is ideal for family gatherings, groups of friends, celebrations and relaxed weekends away. The Homestead offers generous indoor and outdoor spaces where guests can spend quality time together.
The entertainment area includes a spacious lapa with dining facilities, a dry bar, pool table and dartboard.
Outside, guests can cool off in the infinity swimming pool, unwind in the wood-fired hot tub, or gather around the large boma for memorable bushveld evenings. A fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for a comfortable self-catering stay.
For a smaller and more intimate escape, the Welgedacht Lodge Bush Chalet sleeps up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms. This secluded, fully solar-powered eco chalet is especially suited to nature lovers looking to switch off and enjoy the peace of the bush. Relax on the terrace, soak in the wood-fired hot tub, watch wildlife wandering nearby and enjoy quiet evenings beneath the stars.
Guests staying at Welgedacht can enjoy wildlife viewing, walking and cycling trails, fishing and scenic drives.
For the more adventurous, there is also a 4x4 route up the mountain to a beautiful lookout point.
Welgedacht Lodge combines the freedom and tranquillity of the bush with comfortable self-catering accommodation.
