Weskus Bokkompie is a charming self-catering holiday home located in Velddrif. Perfectly positioned above the well-known Bokkomlaan with stunning views over the Bergriver. This vibrant area serves as the heart of Velddrif during weekends and holidays, offering a lively atmosphere for socialising, fishing and water activities for the whole family.
The property accommodates up to 7 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Each bedroom is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables, a ceiling fan and dressing tables. 2 Bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin, while the third bathroom is fitted with a bath, toilet, and shower. Linen and bath towels are provided for guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, fridge-freezer, and dishwasher. The open-plan living area features a comfortable lounge with a Smart TV, Wi-Fi access, a dining table for 8, and an indoor braai.
The home opens onto a covered patio with comfortable outdoor seating, a built-in braai, and a small splash pool that can be heated using a firewood system. Additional features include a wrap-around verandah, private entrance to Bokkomlaan, paved walkways, and a remote-controlled gate providing secure access to the property. There is ample parking space for cars, boats, and trailers, and small pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
For peace of mind, all windows are fitted with shutter blinds and burglar bars, while the main doors feature trellidoors, allowing for fresh airflow without compromising security.
A private gate provides direct access to the Berg River and Bokkomlaan, ideal for fishing, riverside walks, cycling, birdwatching, canoeing, or stand-up paddling. Guests can also explore the nearby small shops and restaurants or purchase fresh bokkoms from local fishermen for a traditional evening braai.
There is ample space to bring your own boat to explore the Berg River, and a 2-person canoe is provided for guests to enjoy the river at their leisure. The property is equipped with solar panels, ensuring a consistent power supply and offering guests added peace of mind throughout their stay.
