Whale Tail is a real gem. Whale Tail is a real gem. The location is unbeatable right on the beach with direct access and breathtaking sea views that you never tire of. The beach feels almost like a private beach at this time of year. We also had great fishing, and the host was very helpful in pointing out good spots. The unit is spotless and has everything you need. The indigenous garden is beautifully maintained, even after a long dry spell - we were lucky to have a small rain shower during our stay. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The spacious deck was a highlight; even in the rain we were able to sit outside, and it was perfect for morning coffee and evening sundowner drinks. The bed was very comfortable, the layout is well thought out, and the place feels private but very welcoming at the same time. Cannon Rocks itself is very safe. The local cafe and bakery is only about 200 meters away and offers fresh bread. This place is ideal for a real getaway from the hustle and bustle. Communication with the host was excellent and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful coastal getaway. We will definitely be back!
