Whispering Waves is a comfortable self-catering cottage situated in Gamtoos River Resort in Gamtoos, offering a relaxed coastal getaway within easy reach of the beach. The property is set within a nature reserve environment, making it well-suited for families or groups of friends seeking a peaceful stay.
The cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed and also has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. Linen and bath towels are provided, while guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
The open-plan living area includes a lounge, dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The dining area seats 4 guests, and the lounge is furnished with a comfortable couch, coffee table, and a TV with DStv channels.
The unit opens onto a covered patio with seating and a dining table, as well as a built-in braai area for guest use. Secure parking is provided, and guests have access to a safe play area for children within the resort.
As the resort forms part of a nature reserve, no parties or loud music are permitted. Guests are also kindly requested to use water sparingly due to the drought-affected region.
