Description
This unique eco-friendly caravan is situated near Map of Africa Viewpoint, surrounded by indigenous fynbos and offering breathtaking valley and mountain views. Set in a peaceful natural environment, this off-the-grid retreat is ideal for guests seeking a simple, nature-focused escape with a relaxed and authentic atmosphere.
The open-plan caravan can accommodate up to 3 guests. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the seating area can be converted into an extra sleeping space for an extra smaller person or child. The unit includes a compact kitchen area equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, cooler box, and basic crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils. Wi-Fi is available, and the layout flows from the kitchen to the sleeping area, with large windows offering scenic views. An outdoor compost toilet is located a short walk from the caravan.
Outside, guests can enjoy a private deck with seating, loungers, a hammock, and an outdoor hot shower. A freestanding bath is also available for relaxing under the stars, heated by a gas geyser. A portable braai is provided, along with firewood. The property operates on solar power, allowing for lighting and device charging while maintaining an eco-conscious, low-impact stay.
We are also dog friendly if your dog is well behaved and used to interacting with other animals.
The surrounding area offers a tranquil natural setting with abundant birdlife and occasional wildlife sightings. Guests can explore nearby forests, enjoy scenic walks, and experience the peaceful beauty of the Garden Route region.The famous Map of Africa view point and paragliding jump spot is on our road and a short walk away , offering exquisite views.
