Peaceful, lovely walks and very cosy with wood supplied for a fire. It would be good to specify that the farm is on a 15 km sand road which, however, was very good in the rain.

Had a wonderful stay! We had a lovely stay in the cottage. It had everything we needed. It's beautiful and clean, and the sheep across the road almost welcomed us.

Heerlik gebly! Ons het heerlik gebly in die huisie. Dit het alles gehad wat ons nodig gehad het. Dis pragtig en skoon, en die skape oorkant die pad het ons omtrent verwelkom.

A pleasant uncomplicated stay with good WiFi. Lovely clean, well-appointed cottage, close to Stanford, plenty of firewood provided, so we were thrilled to be able to keep a warm fire going through the inclement weather. A microwave or air fryer would have been nice, but not essential as there was a full stove and all the necessary equipment. It was lovely to be so close to nature.

Good quiet stay. No dish cloth, pots, no microwave, not very spacious. Positives: enough wood to heat the fireplace. Very clean. Real farm feel and quietness.

Quiet and relaxing stay on a working sheep farm. I can highly recommend. Relaxing working farm atmosphere, tons of firewood with both indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Cosy and comfortable with all necessary self-catering equipment. Very quiet, which is a great break from the city. Ideal place to stay if visiting Stanford.

Peaceful getaway. I stayed at Willowdale Farm cottages with my husband, daughter and parents. The cottages we booked were comfortable and clean and had everything that we needed to enjoy our weekend away. The area is peaceful and pretty and close enough to Stanford to enjoy everything that the village has to offer.
