Description
Winterfontein Karoo Retreat is a charming farmhouse offering guests a peaceful escape in the heart of the Eastern Cape. Surrounded by the wide-open Karoo landscape, this sun-powered property provides the perfect setting for relaxation, stargazing, and enjoying the tranquillity of country life.
The property can accommodate up to 8 guests and features 4 bedrooms, each bedroom comprising 2 single beds. The first bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, basin, and toilet, while the second bedroom’s en-suite is fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. An additional shared bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet is also available. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The farmhouse includes a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, electric oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, and crockery and cutlery. The living area features a cosy indoor fireplace for relaxing evenings, and for entertainment, guests can enjoy a smart TV and free Wi-Fi.
Outside, a lapa with braai facilities offers the ideal space to unwind while taking in the Karoo vistas. A telescope is provided for guests to enjoy the clear night skies. Guests have exclusive use of the entire property, ensuring privacy and comfort during their stay, with ample opportunities to immerse themselves in the serenity of the Karoo.
