You get what you pay for. You get what you pay for, the cottage is very, very old and run down; it really needs some TLC. The front gate doesn't lock, so we were a bit uncomfortable about that. The bed in the first room was very worn and the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. There is no stoep to sit outside if you want to braai for the night. It was pouring with rain when we were there, so it was not convenient at all having no stoep. Otherwise, the cottage is huge, sleeps loads of people, but like I said, it really needs a proper facelift and it will be gorgeous.
