If you like peaceful farm life and also enjoy spending time in the rain, this is for you. It was lovely to stay in 'Springbok' for the long weekend. We were often in Lamberts Bay and it was like a safe haven to return to. The vineyards, sheep and peacocks in a very beautiful setting were a relief for the soul.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views, mainly great value for money! We had a very nice stay. The property is beautiful and the views are absolutely stunning. I would just recommend a few small improvements. The fridge in the main kitchen is quite loud and became a bit irritating over time. When we arrived, it appeared that the plug had only been pushed halfway into the socket against the wall, so it was not fully running. Unfortunately, when we opened it, there was quite a strong fish smell inside. We ended up using the smaller fridge in the other room instead. It may also be worth checking the fan. The top section is loose from the base and it fell onto my foot. Thankfully, no harm was done! Another suggestion would be to invest in darker curtains, blockout curtains, or blinds. The room without the air conditioner gets the full afternoon sun. Even on a warm winter's day, the room became extremely hot, which is why we had to use the fan. I can only imagine how warm it could get during summer. The highlight of the trip was definitely when we arrived back at the property after 2:00 a.m. My husband was DJing at a 40th birthday party, and when we got back, we couldn't reach the house because a group of sheep was lying in the road near the entrance to the house, completely blocking our way! We eventually had to hoot to encourage them to get up and move. We felt so bad disturbing them, but it was such a cute and memorable experience. Overall, this place is truly stunning and we will definitely book it again. The views are spectacular, the setting is peaceful, and for the price, we really feel we got an absolute bargain. Highly recommended! ️️️️️.

Wonderful winter stay, perfect family getaway. Minette and the team were incredibly friendly and efficient in accommodating a last-minute special request. Since the braai area lacked a roof in freezing conditions - and no fireplaces - we decided to braai at Klipspringer, which had a lovely indoor braai. If you’re booking multiple dwellings, make sure to inquire about their proximity. Our units were quite far apart, which made us feel quite spread out and the kids felt quite displaced, so we had to try to accommodate everyone's needs, which was quite a challenge. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and the value for money was great!
