Beautiful location let down by a unit that was neglected. The location is absolutely amazing, the owners are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the unit we stayed in, although clean, is very neglected. Everything we needed was there, but it misses small touches to make your stay a wow experience.

Very disappointing for the amount of money I spent. The place was not cleaned beforehand, cobwebs in every part of the place, the curtains were dirty, the towels were not replaced after we had been there for 2 days already. My husband could not fish as the place where he was supposed to was flooded and overcrowded. The pictures do not actually match the reality of the place; also, the pool was a little splash pool, so my kids could not even enjoy themselves in the water.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not fully meet your expectations. As this is a self-catering lodge, daily servicing and automatic towel changes are not included. Additional towels are always available upon request, and we would have been happy to assist had this been brought to our attention during your stay. The unit was cleaned prior to your arrival. However, due to the rainy season, cobwebs can reappear quickly in this environment despite thorough cleaning. We do appreciate the feedback and will continue to monitor this more closely. Regarding fishing conditions, flooding and overcrowding are seasonal and weather-dependent factors beyond our control, and we regret that this affected your plans. We would also like to clarify that the photos shown in the listing are an exact representation of the unit you stayed in, and photos of the splash pool were included prior to booking. Thank you for taking the time to share your comments. Feedback like this helps us ensure our listing information is clear and manage expectations for future guests.
