Description
Zwahili Private Game Lodge & Spa offers half board accommodation and provides a true African experience in comfort, style, and luxury. The lodge is situated two hours north of Johannesburg, in a malaria-free area at the foot of the Waterberg within the bushveld region of Limpopo. This enchanting landscape features largely undiscovered mountain vistas, deep gorges, ancient rock art, clear streams, and rolling savannah, all teeming with indigenous plant life, diverse birdlife, and abundant wildlife. Guests can enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings while remaining within reach of unique bushveld attractions.
Accommodation is available in 3 Main Lodge Rooms, 4 Safari Suites, 2 Executive Suites, and a Presidential Suite. Each room and suite is furnished with a balcony or deck overlooking the bushveld, air-conditioning, an electronic safe for valuables, a bar fridge, and complimentary tea, coffee, and bottled water. Bathrooms are fitted with amenities, including a hairdryer, ensuring that guests are provided with every comfort during their stay.
The lodge features an extended timber deck from which the most spectacular sunsets can be admired, as well as an open-air boma for evening relaxation. A swimming pool is also provided for guest enjoyment. Game viewings are conducted by experienced rangers and offer sightings of lion, giraffe, civet cat, caracal, zebra, blue wildebeest, eland, impala, rooihartebees, ostrich, waterbuck, blesbok, kudu, bush pig, warthog, and a variety of smaller antelope. Birdwatching opportunities are abundant, with over 400 species recorded, including rare sightings such as lizard buzzard and brown snake eagle, while the world-renowned Nylsvlei Bird Sanctuary is within close proximity for aspiring birdwatchers. Hiking trails are also available, providing guests with an immersive bushveld experience.
Guests are invited to enjoy a spa treatment or a private bushveld picnic, ensuring that both relaxation and adventure are offered in equal measure.
