As per above. We stayed at 10Bellrock for two weeks during the December holidays and wanted to share some details to help future guests plan their stay. The highlights: The views from both the front and back decks are stunning—among the best in Sedgefield. The open-plan lounge, dining area, and kitchen are spacious and well-equipped. The showers are excellent with large heads and great water pressure. Having two outdoor areas meant we could always find a comfortable spot, regardless of the weather, with the added benefit of a steady breeze. Things to be aware of: The double garage shown in the photos is not available for guest use, so we had to store our mountain bikes and Thule Roof Box inside the house. There is therefore also no covered parking for your vehicle, and no sun protection (the sun is really blazingly hot in summer). We purchased a car cover for the sun and left it for future guests. The two upstairs bedrooms get quite warm on sunny days, so during the day you can’t go take a nap or use these rooms - it is like a sauna. All three bedrooms retain heat during the day. The main bedroom has gorgeous gorge views, though ventilation is limited to one small window. The WiFi signal was weak and slow throughout our stay - the owner says reception there is an issue - maybe a fibre link would fix that (I will gladly pay extra for that). The tumble dryer listed in the description was unavailable (broken), though the owner kindly offered a complimentary laundromat wash per week as compensation. For us, having a washer and dryer available was part of the reason we rented the place. The clothesline outside is in disrepair and cannot be used. We have brought this to the owners' attention. Overall, 10Bellrock offers beautiful views, an excellent location, a lovely stay (cognisant of the issues mentioned) and generous space.
