17 on Diamant will definitely be our first choice for any future visits to JHB. Everything was exactly as 'advertised', only change was that the red bricks in the driveway and walkway to the entrance have now been upgraded to grey cobblestone. Everywhere was super clean and neat, and everything one needs is there plus more. Our hostess was very welcoming and attentive. At the end of our stay, we informed her we would be departing at 4 am the next day, and she was up to see us safely on our way. The cottage, which is attached to the main house but completely private, is also completely safe, located within her walled property as well as the access road. Diamant is gated for residences only. Peaceful and quiet location with easy access to Morningside, Bryanston and Sandton.
