Awimaweh is situated in Tweespruit on the banks of the Armenia Dam and offers views of the water and surrounding mountains.
Accommodation is offered in self-catering chalets and basic fishermen's rondavels. The chalets each have a kitchen equipped with a mini stove oven, a fridge, a toaster and a breakfast bar with stools, and each chalet has a private braai area. The rondavels are located close to the water, and each is equipped with a fridge, a stove and a kettle. Guests making use of the rondavels use a nearby ablution block.
On-site facilities include a restaurant that can seat 300 guests, 2 swimming pools, a conference hall for up to 300 delegates and a wedding chapel.
Activities in the area include fishing, putt putt, bird watching, open-air chess, game viewing and horse riding.
