Baris Guesthouse is situated on a farm about 10 km from Clarens in the picturesque Eastern Free State. 300 km from Johannesburg and 280 km from Bloemfontein, this guesthouse is ideally located for a weekend break.

Accommodation consists of 4 well-appointed suites. These spacious suites are ideal for couples and families. The suites are furnished with extra-long king-size beds that can be converted into 2 single beds on request and feature en-suite bathrooms fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin.

The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. There’s a dining table with chairs where guests can enjoy their meals together and this area further extends into the living area furnished with comfortable seating and a Smart TV with selected DStv channels. Free Wi-Fi is also available. There’s a private garden with braai facilities and secure, covered parking is available on-site.

The are two hiking trails on the farm with views of the valley at the foot of the northern slopes of the Witteberg Mountains. Hikers can look forward to sightings of zebra, impala, wildebeest or visit the farm dam for bass fishing.
