Description
Bay Safaris Bush Lodge is a tranquil, off-grid bush camp in the heart of the Eastern Cape on a private game farm. Rented as an exclusive-use unit, it is surrounded by open plains, rolling dunes, and abundant wildlife, making it ideal for couples, families, and nature lovers seeking privacy, peace, and authentic South African charm.
Guests are welcome to explore the property, where they may encounter giraffe, sable, kudu, impala, and Ankole and Angus cattle. The property also features the largest sand dune in the Southern Hemisphere, which guests can explore at their own pace, with sandboards provided free of charge.
The lodge accommodates seven guests across three separate cabins and a loft room above the central lounge and kitchen. The Impala Cabin is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. The Giraffe Cabin also has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a washbasin, toilet, and outdoor shower. The loft room contains two single beds and a bathroom with a bath, washbasin, and toilet.
The open-plan living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, cutlery, and crockery, a six-seater dining table, and a lounge with comfortable seating and a fireplace. Outside, guests can enjoy a plunge pool, a braai, and a boma area with free firewood, perfect for evenings under the stars. Secure parking is provided for peace of mind throughout the stay.
