It was perfect and we all enjoyed our stay. It was a lovely old house with clean rooms and bathrooms and a huge kitchen in a lovely setting. We were well received by the owner who looked after all our requests and even took some of the ladies for a ride in his horse cart around the town.

Quaint, comfortable and excellent value for money. What a find! The accommodation was quaint, homely and very comfortable and the garden was a delight. We had everything we needed and there were extra touches that we appreciated. Roy went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. He "gets" birders and was very helpful.

Comfortable, relaxed and memorable. A comfortable old house ideally positioned to take in views of the wetland but still close enough to the centre of Wakkerstroom. The house is full of interesting and quirky but appealing fixtures and fittings. There is plenty of sleeping accommodation with a large lounge and separate dining room. The kitchen is equally large and well appointed. The large stoep at the back of the house provides a lovely area for a quiet sundowner. Added to which, Roy is a friendly and welcoming host.
