Description
Blaaskansie is a self-catering holiday home located in the old-world coastal village of Kleinzee, in the Namakwa region. This village offers a tranquil retreat for guests seeking a peaceful coastal getaway.
The 36.9 km dirt road from Kommagas to Kleinzee is what makes the village so unique and quiet—a village entirely on its own along the Namakwa coastline.
The house has four bedrooms, each with its own separate bathroom and toilet, and can accommodate up to nine guests. All four bedrooms have a double bed, and the main bedroom also includes a single bed. The house’s bathroom features a bath with an overhead shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped with two fridge-freezers, a chest freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher (guests must bring their own tablets), washing machine (guests must bring their own laundry soap and fabric softener), and a tumble dryer. The house also has a TV with the full DStv package, a braai area, and on-site parking. There is a pool table available (please ask the caretaker for the cues).
Guests can enjoy activities such as golf, birdwatching, shipwreck tours, fishing, swimming, coastal walks, hiking, and 4x4 routes. Please note that the access road to the beach is a dirt road but is passable with a standard vehicle.
Check-in is between 15:00 and 19:00, and check-out is before 10:00. If you are unable to arrive or depart within these times, please speak to us so we can see if alternative arrangements can be accommodated.
