Most enjoyable stay. Excellent well-equipped cottage to visit. The cottage is so well equipped and contained far more than ever expected (lots of luxuries). Everything worked. It was an absolute pleasure staying there.

Absolutely splendid! If the below is your idea of a best stay ever then you need to visit Burkei. * You never get to see the owner/management. Ever! * No cleaning staff to inconvenience your stay. * Everything you need is where you expect to find it. * You love to go hiking. * You generally like to be left alone! Loved my stay.

Well-maintained house in a beautiful, peaceful location. We had a wonderful stay at the house. The facility was well maintained and comfortable. The dogs had a fantastic time doing the hikes. The scenery was beautiful and a tranquil atmosphere.

Had a great time in the woods! We were there for a year-end closing, had a great time! Very beautiful birds and river! Joe quickly helped with the power when the rugby was on. Very nice view of the mountain too. I would only recommend that the garden at no. 6 gets a little extra attention, but otherwise everything we needed was there and more!

Nice but cold. Lovely units. Very cold in winter - bring your own electric blanket if you want to sleep snugly. Also bring your own heater. Got a gas heater and got an extra one on request, however had to go and fill up gas yourself in Bronkhorstspruit after the first bottles were empty. Units very cold. Unit 5 should be avoided if you like a hot shower. Hot water for only a few minutes at a time. Reported this but was told to just live with it in a very cold winter. Otherwise very neat and will be lovely in summer!

Relaxing, peaceful and safe and very neat and clean. We stayed in cottage no. 6, safe and nice separate from the other cottages that are available there. Modern cottage, with everything available to enjoy the weekend and just relax. Washing machine and dishwasher available - absolute winners. Private pool - was nice not to share with other guests, appreciated the privacy. Friendly and helpful service from the time we made the booking until we were safely back home and got our deposit back within a few days.
