Description
Bushsong Eco Camp is a newly built eco retreat located on a 100-hectare private conservancy bordering the iSimangaliso National Park. The property is situated within a natural sand forest environment and is surrounded by indigenous wildlife and abundant birdlife, offering a peaceful bush setting for guests. The camp is owner-hosted, with the hosts living on-site and bringing extensive experience in welcoming guests across Africa.
Accommodation is offered in fully fenced, pet-friendly chalets and in an exclusive-use bush camp. The chalets are positioned at least 100 metres apart to ensure privacy and are suitable for guests travelling with pets, which are required to be kept on a leash within the conservancy. The bush camp is operated on an exclusive-use basis with no shared bookings and is not pet friendly.
The bush camp includes a communal kitchen, braai area, showers, and bathrooms, all provided for private group use. Chalets and camp units are designed for comfort in a natural setting, with guests able to enjoy time outdoors in a secure environment.
The conservancy is home to wildlife such as zebra, antelope, porcupines, tortoises, and a wide variety of bird species, including rare sightings such as the Green Malkoha and Pink & Green Twinspots. Complimentary firewood is provided for the first night, with additional wood available for purchase, allowing for relaxed evenings around the fire under the stars.
