Beautiful private getaway. We had a wonderful stay at Cikeru Lodge this weekend and stayed in the Hornbill unit. The unit was just as beautiful as the pictures — if not even prettier. It was wonderfully secluded, offering lots of privacy, which we really appreciated. The room was spotless, well equipped, and the Jacuzzi was a fantastic touch that we thoroughly enjoyed. If you’re looking for a romantic breakaway with your better half close to Pretoria, this is the perfect spot. Thank you so much, for everything. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to see you again soon.

Absolutely stunning. Hornbill is a secluded little spot that has an amazing bush feel. The Jacuzzi was a winner. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic bush getaway.

Romantic getaway in the woods! Cikeru Bush Camp – Hornbill is private and beautifully appointed. Ideal for couples looking for a romantic getaway. The jacuzzi is a winner – not too hot, not too cold – just right! Upon our arrival, there were delicious sparkling drinks and two “choklits” that greeted us. It’s the little things that make a big difference. Knee blankets at the braai area if it gets cool/cold — very special! The communication from the website and Cindy from Cikeru was spot on and made our trip that much easier. We will definitely visit Hornbill (Cikeru Bush Camp) DV again.
