Description
Situated on the hillside and overlooking the beautiful coastline, Da Gama Bay Holiday Units is a brand new addition to the self-catering holiday accommodation of St Helena Bay.
Inspired by Vasco Da Gama, the units at Da Gama Bay Holiday Units are named after the large merchant ships that Da Gama and his fellow travelers arrived in. The Armada or fleet consisted of São Miguel, São Rafael, and São Gabriel which was accompanied by the supply ship Berrio and Vasco.
These units are beautifully styled and decorated, comprising 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan lounge and kitchen area that are modernly furnished. The bedrooms are furnished with a double bed and 2 single beds and make use of a bathroom that is fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. All linen and towels are provided.
The modern open-plan kitchens are equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas hob, oven, microwave, basic crockery, and cutlery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. There’s also a Nespresso coffee machine available in each unit for extra spoil. The lounges are furnished with comfortable seating space and have a Smart TV that offers guests access to streaming services such as DStv, AppleTV, Netflix, and Showmax using their own login details. Each of the units also has an electronic safe, and an alarm system and is fitted with burglar bars.
Guests can take advantage of the heated swimming pool after a long day at the beach or just soak up the sun on the loungers on the pool deck. An outdoor shower is also available to wash off the beach sand. From the private covered braai patio or the communal pool deck, guests will be in one of only three places on earth, in a natural continental bay, that allows them to observe both the rising and the setting of the sun over the ocean.
