Set beneath a small ridge, this beautifully restored stone cottage was once the home of a Tankwa farmer and now offers a private and peaceful escape surrounded by nature.

The 3-bedroom house sleeps 7 guests. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. The third bedroom has 2 single beds. They share a bathroom fitted with a bath, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, providing everything needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. The house features a separate lounge and a cosy living area. Authentic furnishings reflect the character of the original home, while modern conveniences ensure a comfortable and relaxed stay. Inside, a fireplace transforms the thick stone walls into a warm and inviting retreat during cooler evenings.

Outside, a spacious braai area invites guests to enjoy long evenings under the clear, star-filled skies of the Tankwa. The home operates on a solar power system and a gas geyser that provides hot water and basic electricity. A vehicle with high-profile tyres is essential to reach the property.
