Elandsdans is located in the Klein Karoo, 11 km from the R62 between Oudtshoorn and Calitzdorp in the Western Cape. The property is approximately 16 km from Oudtshoorn.
Bokmakierie House is divided into 2 self-catering units. Each unit has a bedroom with 2 three-quarter beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. The first unit has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and double basin. The second unit has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin. An additional outdoor bathroom has a shower, toilet, and basin. One living area has a sleeper couch for 2 children, while the other has a single bed for a child. Both units offer seating areas and fully equipped kitchens with a stove, oven or gas stove, kettle, fridge-freezer, crockery, cutlery, and utensils. The first, larger unit has a dining table for 4 in the kitchen area. Each unit opens onto a shared patio with outdoor furniture and a braai area.
A private, covered plunge pool has been recently added, beautifully hidden in the dense Spekboom bush, offering a refreshing retreat on a warm Karoo day.
On-site facilities include Wi-Fi, secure parking, and private braai areas.
Attractions within 20 km include walking and mountain biking trails on the property, with regular sightings of wildlife such as eland, kudu, springbok, and nyala. The area is also popular for birdwatching, and guests can enjoy observing a variety of waterbirds from the hidden bird-watching hide.
