Goat Cottage is a charming self-catering holiday retreat situated in Wakkerstroom, within close proximity to restaurants and the town centre. This building once hosted the very popular Goat House Kitchen Deli and Padstal and was lovingly restored by its owner into the Goat Cottage The Old Windmill is still standing and a new Blue Door leads you to total Privacy and a few surprises....... The cottage can accommodate 4 adults and 1 child, offering a private, tranquil escape surrounded by beautiful gardens.
The cottage features 1 bedroom and a seperate bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin. The bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, while the living area contains two 3/4 beds and a single sleeper couch suitable for a child.
The rustic, farm-style kitchen is equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, kettle, air fryer, a traditional wood-fired brick oven, microwave, toaster, double door fridge, as well as cutlery and crockery. The living area includes a dining table, comfortable seating, and a fireplace.
There is a separate study equipped with comfortable study desk, chair reading lamp.....lounger and what makes this little space really special is the double glass doors that opens up and leads to a tiny plant filled mini garden from where you can hear the sound of the water of the little pond in the courtyard. It also allows for a gentle breeze blowing through.
You have a lovely patio with a small garden comfortable seating, dining room table and chairs at the entrance to the Cottage behind the blue door....totally private and safe. But also a lovely outside area with seating and a weber braai at the back of the Goat Cottage to enjoy.
On the side of the building you have access to a electric gate for parking, safely and away from the street.
Come and enjoy what this little Cottage with the Windmill, behind the blue door can offer....you will be amazed!
Guests can light a fire to stay warm on Wakkerstroom’s cooler days or nights. They can, curl up with a good book,in front of the huge fireplace or simply relax on the comfortable couches after a day of birdwatching.
