Description
Guideboat Lagoon Retreat is a stunningly furnished self-catering off-grid home nestled between 2 protected bird sanctuaries in a tranquil nature retreat 12 km from Stanford.
The main bedroom features modern finishes and is furnished with a king-size bed. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with an oval-shaped bath, a shower, a toilet, and a basin. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, a toilet, and a basin. Both bedrooms feature a cosy fireplace.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, cutlery, and crockery. There is a spacious kitchen counter as well as a dining table. The open-plan living area features a comfortable L-shaped couch, a TV with Netflix, and a cosy wood-fired fireplace, perfect for cold winter evenings.
Each stack door leads to a large deck with views of the lagoon and Milkwood Forest. There is an authentic wood-fired wine barrel hot tub under the milkwood trees overlooking the lagoon and a deck on the bank of the lagoon overlooking the “Picasso“ sandstone rocks. On the house deck, there is an entertainment area with a large braai and a pizza oven where guests can relax, roast marshmallows, and watch the sunset between the Milkwood Forest's branches.
Whether enjoying the amenities of this incredible home, sunbathing on the deck, taking nature walks among wildflowers, kayaking, or soaking in the hot tub under the trees, guests of Guideboat Lagoon Retreat are well on their way to a memorable trip.
