Description
Gweilo is a spacious, family home on the Goukou River in Still Bay and is ideal for a group of friends for a long weekend away, or a family gathering. The beach is only a 20 minute drive away.
The house comprises 6 bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, and can accommodate up to 18 guests at a time. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has a double bed. The third bedroom has 2 single beds and the fourth bedroom has a double bed. The fifth bedroom also has 2 single beds and the last bedroom has a queen-size bed. The 2 main bedrooms are on the first floor and each has a double shower. The 4 lower-floor bedrooms each have a loft area with a child's mattress and an en-suite bathroom with shower or bath.
The kitchen and dining room is open plan with an indoor braai. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with an oven, gas stove, microwave, fridge and freezer and dishwasher. There is a separate laundry room with an extra fridge-freezer, as well as a large washing machine and tumble dryer.
There are 2 spacious living areas, each with a guest toilet, ensuring that everyone has enough space to relax, from young to old. The living areas offer plenty of space to relax in front of the fireplace or TV. There is also a bar area with fridge and pool table. Guests can also braai outside with beautiful views over the Goukou River.
The house is situated on the river bank with a small boat house with jetty where guests can dock a ski boat. Guests also have the use of 1 canoe, 1 surf ski and 3 standup paddleboards.
