Very nice, safe and clean. We had a very comfortable and safe stay at Habitat. Would recommend it to everyone.

I enjoyed the food at the cafe, the cafe staff were very friendly. Check-in was easy, the staff were friendly. My room was always cleaned, and the complimentary coffee each morning at the cafe was the highlight of my stay. The property is well located.

Unmemorable. Disappointing. It was below par. The curtains were dirty, bathroom walls had some toothpaste-like stains on them. The soap holder was rusted. After complaining more than once, the curtains were cleaned and guess what, they were better but stains remained. They moved me to another bigger room, which made me happy for 2 minutes. Got there, the soap holder was rusted and carpets were dirty, even after the room was cleaned.

Not enjoyable. 1. The workspace in my room was too tight; I had to squeeze myself between the chair and the desk because there is not much space between the bed and the desk. 2. I paid R5,175.00 for my stay, but the invoice that I received was for R4,103.77. 3. The service at the restaurant was extremely slow; I had to leave before someone came to take my order.

Everything else was fine but that was so upsetting. The website messed up my booking and said it was cancelled, but it wasn’t. I stood at reception arguing with the front desk lady, Amber, who not only spoke over me but completely dismissed my situation. She told me I needed to rebook and pay again, saying it was my problem to deal with the website. Her attitude was so disgusting, and I felt embarrassed as she was saying this in front of other people. I then asked to speak to someone else, and the other lady at reception was so helpful. She took my reference number and discovered that the booking was made under the incorrect name. Still, there were no apologies, nothing. I asked if they could at least let me check in a bit earlier since I had travelled far, but they said no. To make matters worse, the room had no towels. They eventually brought up one towel for two adults. I am leaving this review everywhere; really disgusting service.

Very average. The room was not clean - I had to request the cleaner to mop the floors. Throughout the stay, the room door was dirty on the inside - it looked like splatter from the kitchen or dustbin. Reception took an extremely long time with check-in, and I found that they were not really bothered with customer service. At night, on two occasions, there were people making very loud noise in the hallways after 00:00, and this continued for some time. The bed was neat and clean, and the view was good - although the windows were very dirty.
