85 on Dassen is a charming coastal retreat situated in the picturesque village of Yzerfontein on the West Coast. The area is well known for its unspoiled beaches, seasonal wildflowers, excellent fishing opportunities, and scenic landscapes.
The accommodation is located on the same premises as the owner’s private residence, and has a separate entrance to ensure privacy. The property comprises 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, while the second bedroom contains a queen-size bed. The shared bathroom is fitted with both a bath and a shower.
The open-plan living and kitchen area is equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge, microwave, induction cooktop, and air fryer. The dining table seats 4 guests. The patio offers a suitable space for enjoying braai evenings while taking in the sea views. Secure parking is available on the premises, and guests are advised that stairs lead to the entrance.
The accommodation is located approximately 200 m from the sea. On clear days, views of Table Mountain can be enjoyed, and during spring, whales and dolphins are often visible. The 16 Mile Beach stretches from the main beach towards the West Coast National Park. Nearby attractions include Buffelsfontein Game and Nature Reserve!Khwa ttu, and Living Colour’s. Various restaurants, a Spar, delis, and the Swartland Wine Route are also within easy reach.
